On August 30, 1992, Nirvana performed a critically acclaimed set at the Reading Festival. The setlist is made up mostly of Nevermind-era songs, with some Bleach-era tracks, three songs from the then-unreleased In Utero and two covers. The performance was released in album-form on November 3, 2009. Nirvana's appearance at the 1992 Reading Festival was the band's second performance at the annual music festival and their first since the success of their second album Nevermind had elevated them to the position of what Pitchfork called the "biggest" rock band in the world.
