I love ‘The Son of Chico Dusty’, but this mashup took it to a whole new level for me. The Black Keys do what they do better than anyone else, and I enjoy their music on occasion. What really got me interested in them, though, was the Blakroc project. So, taking a band who intrinsically creates blues with hip-hop-able (?) rhythm and combining them with, perhaps, one of the best lyricists in the business puts this album on repeat.
