Thao & Mirah team up to create quite a unique sound. It’s indy, it’s folky, and it’s dreamy. But sometimes, unfortunately it’s just weird. They use some unique instruments, like knee slaps and spoons, which works well in most songs. In others, though, it just seems like something is out of place. All in all a good album with some great tracks. There are just some of these tracks that I’ve got to skip, or just not add to my playlists at all.
