I remember discussing this album with one Cliff Seal back in 2002 when we both worked at our church. If I remember, he recommended. If I’m wrong, sorry Cliff.
Anyway, the funny thing about Strays is….well…..its better than Jane’s most popular work. They tone down the art rock and, instead, focus on tightly written hard rockers that bring out Perry Farrells iconic voice. Even Dave Navarro, worlds most overrated guitar player, manages to write some decent riffage here. It’s a good one in my book.
