Depth, power and finesse by the boat loads. I’m calling it a win. Not to everyones digestion, but then that’s the point isn’t it?
‘Yellow & Green’ is an admirable and genuine work of art that navigates countless genres, moods, and ideas. It’s one of the most interesting albums I’ve heard in the past couple of years.
That said, it’s also terribly difficult to digest in one sitting. I would have much preferred separate albums in keeping with Baroness’s prior work, instead of having to commit 75 minutes to hear it in its entirety.
